This is why we insist on enforcing the clutch cover rules. Here is the aftermath of a blown clutch on a 700 Improved class sled at a recent race. Even with a proper clutch cover, the cover was blown off and debris ejected. Another friendly reminder, always race with your shield down on your helmet. The racer reported catching some of the fragments in the shield and helmet when it exploded!
