SSRA Sanctioned Classes
These are the standard classes sanctioned by the SSRA for the 2021 season. The Race Director reserves the right to reclassify any sled in the interest of fair competition. Please click on any of the classes that are underlined for more information.
Classes for riders under 16 years of age:
Mini 120 CC Stock
Mini 200 CC Stock
Junior - Riders 12 - 15 years of age
Note: No traction products (studs, picks, chisels, screws, etc.) allowed in any stock or improved stock classes. Traction products only allowed in Pro Sno, Open Mod 1000, Mountain Open (max 2 per bar), Top 2 Stroke, Outlaw.
All riders in the classes below must be at least 16 years of age:
Classic Super Stock - Sport (600 cc's or less), Muscle (over 600 cc's) - All sleds model year 1995 or earlier.
Amateur Stock - 600, 700, 800, 1000 Amateur or local racers. Stock sleds (aftermarket silencer allowed)
Stock - 600, 700, 800, 1000, Open Stock (ISR Stock rules apply, stock exhaust required)
Improved Stock - 600, 700, 800, 1000, Open Improved
Pro Sno - 600, 700, 800, 1000 - (PS 1000 4 stroke turbo sleds allowed if factory equipped with turbo. OE Engine and turbo for the model. Max 3 cyl. cc's 998, 2 cyl cc's 1100. Neither turbo nor engine swaps allowed. Min. combined sled and rider weight 725 lbs.)
Open Mod 1000 - 4 stroke turbo sleds allowed, 725 lb min. weight, 60 mm air inlet restrictor plate required
Mountain - Mountain Improved, Mountain Open (Max 2 stoke cc's in Improved is 1000 and stock cylinders must be used), MINIMUM TRACK MEASUREMENTS IN MOUNTAIN CLASSES ARE 141" LENGTH AND 1.5" LUG HEIGHT. No traction products in Improved. Max two studs per bar allowed in Open.
