
SSRA Sanctioned Classes
These are the standard classes sanctioned by the SSRA for the 2022-2023 season. The Race Director reserves the right to reclassify any sled in the interest of fair competition.
Classes for riders under 16 years of age:
Mini 120 CC - Stock as from factory - Any changes from factory production move sled to Mini Pro
Mini 200 CC - Stock as from factory - Any changes from factory production move sled to Mini Pro
Mini Pro
Junior - Riders 12 - 15 years of age - RULES
Note: No traction products (studs, picks, chisels, screws, etc.) allowed in any stock or improved stock classes.
All riders in the classes below must be at least 16 years of age:
Classic Super Stock - Sport (600 cc's or less), Muscle (over 600 cc's) - All sleds model year 1995 or earlier. For complete rules click HERE.
Stock - 600, 700, 800, 1000, Open Stock - Factory turbo-charged (2 and 4 stroke) sleds compete in Open Stock only. Commercially available, unmodified, aftermarket mufflers (cans) allowed on naturally aspirated 2 stroke sleds in stock.
Improved Stock - 600, 700, 800, 1000, Open Improved - Factory turbo-charged sleds compete in Open Improved only. Must use OE turbo for the model.
Pro Stock - 600, 700, 800, 1000, Open Pro stock - 2 strokes larger than 1000 cc and four stroke turbo sleds allowed (without turbo restrictions) in the Open class. One power adder (turbo or nitrous) allowed in Open. Pro Stock body/chassis rules apply. Oxygenated fuels allowed (see Fuel Rules).
Mountain Classes - Deep Snow Super Stock (RULES) - Mountain Open - Minimum track requirements in Mountain classes are 141" length and 1.75" lug height. Track screws allowed in Open. Studs allowed in Open (max. 2 per bar). Oxygenated fuels allowed in Open (see Fuel Rules).
Outlaw - Oxygenated fuels allowed (see Fuel Rules).
