You may have seen that the Lac La Biche festival of speed was cancelled due to ice conditions. That being what it is, organizers for the snow drag event wanted to proceed and looked diligently for an alternate off-lake location to hold the race.
A number of sites were investigated but a suitable site was unable to be found. They were very disappointed but nonetheless informed us that they are unable to host an event this year.
